We are excited to share that SVL Advisory Board Member Jose (Pepe) Gomez has been promoted to Director Global Services Marketing at Schneider Electric. Jose will be leading the development and execution of Service Channel Strategy to accelerate performance via our Service Channels. He will be Working with a global team developing commercial marketing strategies, best-in-class marketing programs & campaigns and will lead the deployment of partner platforming and growth strategies.

Jose R (Pepe) Gomez is an accomplished Business and Sales executive with over 20 years of experience leading domestic, international, and global organizations in some of the most successful and influential technology companies, including Sun Microsystems, Oracle, Softtek, HPE, and Schneider Electric. Currently, Pepe holds a leadership position in the Global Field Services organization at Schneider Electric, where he is responsible for driving Services Business Management for the Cloud and Service Provider Segment in Latin America. Before joining Schneider Electric, Pepe led the Worldwide New Business efforts for Hewlett Packard Enterprise from its headquarters in Palo Alto, California. Throughout his 15+ year career with Sun Microsystems and Oracle, Pepe held several executive roles with responsibility at a country, region, and worldwide level.
Pepe has been a champion of Diversity and Inclusion for over 15 years and has held various leadership roles in this area, including President of Society of Latinos (SOL) at Sun Microsystems, Founder and Chair of Hispanic Oracle Leadership Association (HOLA), and founder of Bay Area Latino Network. He is passionate about inclusion and has mentored and coached many great IT professionals who happen to be Hispanic.
Pepe is a long-time member of HITEC and has been part of the leadership team hosting HITEC events at Sun Microsystems, Oracle, and Hewlett Packard. He currently serves on HITEC Corporate Advisory Board and is the Founder of HITEC Mexico. Pepe also served for almost 10 years on the Board of Directors for The First Tee Silicon Valley, an organization dedicated to teaching kids life lessons and skills through golf. He is also on the Advisory Board for Silicon Valley Latino, an organization dedicated to highlighting the accomplishments and contributions of Latinos in Silicon Valley. Pepe has been recognized five times as one of the HITEC 100 most influential Latinos in IT.
Pepe holds a degree in Business Administration and Computer Science from ITESO (Instituto Tecnológico de Estudios Superiores de Occidente) and has also graduated from the Latino Board Leadership Academy from Hispanic Foundation of Silicon Valley (HFSV) and the Emerging Executive Program (EEP) by HITEC.
