Shop with a Cop: Operation Backpack & School Supplies

On August 8, 2020, Police officers from SJPD, Milpitas PD, County Sheriffs,  FBI, Park Rangers, and Military personnel joined with @shopwithacopsv to provide school supplies — like backpacks pens, paper, notebooks, and more needed to succeed in school that many don’t have.

The needs of families are greater this year as they struggle to navigate the financial challenges brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic. For many students, these fully stocked backpacks will be the only resource available to start a new school year with the tools and confidence they need to succeed. Shop with Cop Silicon Valley and local Community businesses are working together to help our kids succeed.

We are also determined to continue to raise the essential funds for families and children in need during these uncertain and challenging times, but we need your help now more than ever. Your charitable donations now also help, when our ability to fund raise, to meet our mission-which is being tested in the face of the pandemic - has been severely reduced.
Your generosity makes it possible for our foundation to be here for the community that enriches lives.
We assure you that the needs are increasing, and the resources will be limited- and yet, our selfless and essential volunteer police officers stand at the ready.

This past week on August 25, 2020 –Shop with a Cop of Foundation of Silicon Valley announced that it has been selected as a 2020 California Nonprofit of the Year by CA Assembly member Kansen Chu.
