Mi Camino
An Animated Bilingual Opera
June 25th and 27th 2021
Cultura Ambassador, Composer, Creator & Director, Héctor Armienta is delighted to bring us a powerful animated short film where he gives a voice to Bay Area farm-workers. Through song and multimedia, including animations, Mi Camino portrays real stories shared by these important yet often forgotten members of our community, focusing on the impact of COVID-19.
Hector harnesses innovative technology to combine footage of the singers with animations (including avatars and virtual worlds), creating visually powerful moments to convey the experiences of the farm-workers and to inspire reflection on our collective experiences in this particular time in history.
The premiere will take place online.
