Adriana is an experienced relationship builder with a demonstrated history of working in the broadcast media industry and education non-profit sectors. She spent over a decade building equity and access programs and partnerships at the College Board and most recently focused on social impact and corporate social responsibilities campaigns at Univision Communications Inc. and Fusion Media Group.
She is currently the host of LatinxAmerica, a podcast focused on highlighting people in tech who are leveraging, creating or financing tech. Adriana is also a freelance consultant for Univision’s Deeper Learning campaign launched in collaboration with the Hewlett Foundation. Adriana is skilled in Nonprofit Organizations, Equity & Access Programs, Educational Technology, Instructional Design, Program Development and Facilitation in English and Spanish. She is a strong business development professional with a Master's degree focused in Communication Management from USC Annenberg School for Communication & Journalism and a Bachelors of Arts from Claremont McKenna College. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling the world with her family.
On a personal note, Adriana is a first generation college graduate and also the first in her family to receive a Masters degree. She emigrated from Mexico at the age of 12 to reunite with her family and was also an ELL student, so she understands the importance of supporting and contributing to student success. She currently resides in Silicon Valley with her husband and two children.
