City of San Jose 2015 Inaugural Ceremony

This evening the City of San Jose hosted a swearing-in ceremony for its new mayor, Sam Liccardo and four new councilmembers Magdalena Carrasco, Raul Peralez, Charles Jones and Tam Nguyen. It was one of the most entertaining and diverse swearing-in ceremonies that we had attended. The Aztec dancers were amazing, Manuel Romero's National Anthem performance was incredibly moving, David Perez's Poetic Reading was intriguing, Mayor Liccardo's remarks were inspiring and of course the evening's Master of Ceremonies, Tamara Alvarado was witty, funny and engaging.
