Webee Founder, Cecilia Flores, Awarded $2 Million at Female Founders Competition

Four women-led startups, of which among them we find Cecilia Flores of Argentina, will receive a total of $6 million to scale their innovations from Microsoft’s venture capital arm, Mayfield, and Pivotal Ventures, an organization founded by Melinda Gates.

This past 15 of July the organizations unveiled this year’s winners of the Female Founders Competition, a program designed to expand access to capital for women entrepreneurs. Microsoft said last year that it would award $2 million each to two B2B enterprise startups and grant $1 million awards to two “deeptech” companies.

Cecilia’s company Webee, a Sunnyvale, Calif.,  startup provides an IoT no-coding end-to-end tool-set powered by AI, and Computer Vision, that allows simple connectivity through sensors and devices, intuitive data processing, and instant remote monitoring of operations.

One example where you could find their technology is in the Farming Industry where the client could manage farming operations using advanced technology to track, monitor, automate and analyze operations efficiently and in real-time.
