Latino-Owned Businesses Are Powering the U.S. Economy—Now Let’s Invest Back In

Latinos in the U.S. have reached a historic milestone—our collective economic output has grown to an astonishing $4.1 trillion, according to the latest U.S. Latino GDP Report by UCLA and LDC. If we were our own country, the U.S. Latino GDP would rank as the third-fastest growing economy in the world. This isn’t just a statistic—it’s a powerful reminder of the strength, innovation, and resilience of our community.

Yet despite this momentum, a recent U.S. Senate report titled “Small Businesses Lose in Trump Tax Plan” reveals that Latino-owned businesses—like many other small businesses—were largely left out of meaningful tax relief. While the wealthiest and largest corporations received major breaks, our community of entrepreneurs faced continued complexity, fewer benefits, and missed opportunities.

At ShopLatino.Market, we’re not just a directory—we’re a movement rooted in celebrating and strengthening Latino entrepreneurship. Our community is fueling the national economy, and it’s time policies reflect that. Let's continue to support each other by buying local, amplifying Latino-owned brands, and advocating for equitable economic growth.
