Jessica Prado Filice - SVL Cultura Ambassador

We are excited to announce that about 2 weeks ago we welcomed Jessica Prado-Filice as our newest SVL Cultura Ambassador.

Jessica Filice is a first-generation Mexican American and proud Latina. Born in the rural community of Hollister, CA, Jessica learned all about the American Dream from her parents, who emigrated to the United States from Michoacan and Zacatecas, Mexico in 1969, to thrive in a new land of endless opportunity. While still learning the English language, Jessica’s father started his own General Contracting business which he has now successfully operated for over 30 years. On a similar path and armed with only an 8^th-grade education, Jessica watched her mother rise in the ranks of a front desk receptionist to a high-level manager in San Benito County over the past 30 years.

In addition to the tenacious work ethic her parents instilled in her and encouragement toward higher education, Jessica also credits her older brother and sister who paved the way and led by example. Both attended major 4-year universities and earned multiple college degrees in Business and Finance. Inspired by their success and work ethic, Jessica graduated from San Jose State University with a degree in Communication Studies with a focus on Organizational Communication.

Today, Jessica serves as Vice President of Mortgage Advisory at Silicon Valley Bank (SVB), a division of First Citizens Bank. In this role, she specializes in providing personalized private banking services to Founders, Executives, and VC/PE professionals within the Tech Ecosystem. Most recently, Jessica transitioned into Business Development where she has successfully designed and delivered effective training programs, developed onboarding curriculums, and driven employee engagement.

Throughout her tenure at SVB, she has played a key role in building a consistent client contact strategy and identifying appropriate cross-marketing opportunities. She is a passionate and driven individual who takes pride in streamlining processes and helping those around her grow professionally. Jessica’s proactive style and ability to handle uncertainty and ambiguity have helped create and scale new and emerging ideas to leaders within the Private Bank at SVB.

Jessica is extremely proud of her Mexican Heritage and has brought her education and professional experience to mentor other members of her extended family to not only pursue higher education but on how to flourish in the ever-changing business landscape as well.

Jessica and her husband became proud parents of one beautiful little girl in August 2022. In addition to her new parenting duties, Jessica loves to travel, cook, and cheer on her Bay Area sports teams. Most recently, Jessica traveled to Italy to master the art of pizza and pasta making and is eager to tackle more culinary adventures.
